The generalized Fényes–Nelson model for free scalar field theory

چکیده
The generalized Fényes–Nelson model of quantum mechanics is applied to the free scalar field. The resulting Markov field is equivalent to the Euclidean Markov field with the times scaled by a common factor which depends on the diffusion parameter. This result is consistent between Guerra’s earlier work on stochastic quantization of scalar fields. It suggests a deep connection between Euclidean field theory and the stochastic interpretation of quantum mechanics. The question of Lorentz covariance is also discussed.

In this paper, a size-dependent first-order shear deformation plate model is formulated in the framework of the higher-order generalized nonlocal strain-gradient (GNSG) theory. This modelemploys ...
متن کاملDynamics of a Generalized Cosmological Scalar-tensor Theory
A generalized scalar-tensor (GST) theory is investigated whose cosmological (or quintessence) term depends on both a scalar field and its time derivative. A correspondence with solutions of five-dimensional Space-Time-Matter (STM) theory is noted. Analytic solutions are found for the scale factor, scalar field and cosmological term. Models with free parameters of order unity are consistent with...
متن کاملStrange quark matter attached to string cloud in general scalar tensor theory of gravitation
Bianchi type-VI0 space time with strange quark matter attached to string cloud in Nordtvedt [1] general scalar tensor theory of gravitation with the help of a special case proposed by Schwinger [2] is obtained. The field equations have been solved by using the anisotropy feature of the universe in the Bianchi type-VI0 space time. Some important features of the model, thus obtained, have been di...
متن کاملAnalytical Studies for the Critical Line and Critical Endpoint of the Electroweak Phase Transition
We outline two approaches for studying the electroweak phase transition in the framework of the four-dimensional SU(2) Higgs model on a lattice. The first one is based on a combination of variational estimates for the free energy and a solution of the resulting gap equations by means of dynamical linked cluster expansions. In the second approach we first indicate the derivation of an effective ...
متن کاملScalar Field Theory on a Causal Set in Histories Form
We recast into histories-based form a quantum field theory defined earlier in operator language for a free scalar field on a background causal set. The resulting decoherence functional resembles that of the continuum theory but the counterpart of the d’Alembertian operator is nonlocal and a generalized inverse of the discrete retarded Green function. We comment on the significance of this and w...
